Guild Badges and Awards

Badges

In addition to their identifying level badge and local Guild group name stripe, the girls can achieve and wear the following badges on their uniforms: 

375 Little Flowers 02.png

St Therese EOL Badge

Awarded to girls who complete the entire Little Flower Program in the Foundation Areas and achieve at least 15 Skill Cards before turning 9.

375 Standard Bearers 02.png

St Joan EOL Badge

Awarded to girls who complete the entire Standard Bearers Program in the Foundation Areas and achieve at least 15 Skill Cards before turning 19.

St Kateri EOL Badge

Awarded to girls who complete the entire Lilies Program in the Foundation Areas and achieve at least 15 Skill Cards before turning 12.

375 Hiking 10.png

Bushwalking Badge

A tracking badge awarded when girls reach 10km, 25km, 50km 75km, 100km, 200km, 500km and 1000km bushwalking.

St Hildegard EOL Badge

Awarded to girls who complete the entire Trailblazers Program in the Foundation Areas and achieve at least 15 Skill Cards before turning 15.

Volunteer Hours Badge

A tracking badge awarded when girls complete 5hrs, 10hrs, 25hrs, 50 hrs, 75hrs and 100 hrs volunteering.

Special Awards

Each special award is allocated to one girl each year, and is only available to the Trailblazer and Standard Bearer levels. The girls are nominated by their leader and headquarters chooses the award recipients from the nominations. The awards are linked to scholarships, grants and development opportunities where possible.

St Mary MacKillop Award

Awarded by Campion College Sydney, this award is for girls who excel in teaching and guiding younger Guild members.

 St Teresa Award

This special award is awarded by the Mother Superior of the  Carmelite monastery in Goonellabah, for girls who have excelled in the arts, crafts and trade skills part of the program.

Sr Mary Glowrey Award

For girls who have shown outstanding commitment to the whole program.

Caroline Chisholm Award

 For girls who have excelled in community engagement and volunteering.

St Therese Award

 For girls who have achieved the Catechism and Prayer Skill cards and have been consistent with daily and parish devotions.

Sr Berenice Award

For girls who have excelled in the outdoors components of the program. 

Dame Enid Lyons Award

For girls who have excelled in public speaking, and who have attended a political leadership course.
